I stumbled upon weewx not too long ago and decided to use it instead of the
PC Connect for Mac that Acurite has for use in conjunction with their
5-in-1 stations.

I had some issues getting the USB interface to work with weewx on my Mac
running Sierra, so I put it on a BeagleBone Black I had from an aborted
attempt to build my own weather station.

I didn't want to start down the road of replacing/rebuilding my flash too
often so I used the instructions to allocate a ram drive for the web
reports and copying to my Mac and use it web server to view that page
locally. I also installed MariaDB (drop-in replacement for MySQL) on my
Mac and migrated from SQLite on the BeagleBone to MariaDB. Now just have
the syslog messages piling up on the flash until I decide to something with
the rsyslog.

Now to play with the Reporting stuff to put my own thumbprint on the html
page.
