As something of a compromise perhaps every weewx generated page should have a line at the bottom for specifying the skin used to create the page together with date and copyright info, and have the skin name available as a field variable to cheetah - or something along those lines anyway ... just my initial thoughts on the subject. I think that to get the info into the map database would be too hit and miss especially as Gary points out one person's 'standard' may be completely different to another person's 'standard'.
