Thanks for the reply. Is the RPi rebooting considered a power cycle? Or is the acurite display turning on and off considered a power cycle?
To clarify - the acurite display is remaining powered on at all times. Even if i push the settings button for USB Mode it appears to still be on mode 3 or 4 - wherever i left it. Appreciate your help.
