I don't think it is really spot on, because I just realized that Marco means "skin" when he is writing "template". I understood "template" in the way a cheetah template (a *.html.tmpl) is meant.
Anyway, the result of utilizing weectl extension install will most likely be satisfying for Marco's needs. Further, fuzzy-archer supports adding new cheetah-templates in a way, that this kind of customization will survive an update of the skin to another version, which is described in the wiki link.
