Ok Hold that thought, it just worked. I put "/***** as path and it created another folder under it and populated it. I'm sure I've done that before but..... Unfortunately that is not in the "public_html" folder so not sure how that works but more like something to work out with the hosting blokes. Sorry to everyone for the distraction. I'll find out how to trim the path (@host) in the meantime. Thanks to all you guys for your time and consideration
