On my Trixie box using the .deb package with the Davis backend I see four processes until the record processing and then it kicks up to five. My understanding is that while they have a PID, they're actually threads. I have Wunderground Rapidfire enabled and one thread seems to be related to that. When the data processing thread kicks off it has a much higher PID value than the other four. I may be incorrect, but the shared memory and resident memory values are the same for all threads as they're children of the parent process. - Nate -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds.
