I used to play electric rhythm guitar when I was younger...
and no, I'm not going to say how many years ago that was :-)
However, I only managed to play a few chords, and then I
saw Frank Zappa perform live in Belgium.
Frank's amazing guitar solo's made me decide to give
up my music ambition for good instantly... but now I'm
talking about the time that the Internet was not invented.
Now, with the Internet, it's all so much easier... and here's
a guy called David Alexander, who has done what no other
musician has ever been able to do.
After years of study, and hundreds of hours of research,
David has written the only book of its kind, called "Screaming
Guitar", and he will tell you precisely how to become a fast
guitar playing genius.

A man who has received 11,000 phone calls bound
for the Guinness Book of Records could be included
in the next edition. Barry Maunder from Twickenham
has been receiving the calls from all over the world
for six years. The Sun says his number is the same
except for the area code, which is just one digit different.
To make matters worse, phone books in Japan, the
US, Colombia and the UK have mistakenly published
his number instead of Guinness's. The record book
editors are considering giving him his own entry for
the highest ever amount of wrong numbers.
Slipknot are planning to throw animal entrails at the
crowd during their Gig On The Green appearance.
The band have requested pigs' hearts and cattle
intestines for next month's concert in Glasgow.
But the idea has sparked safety concerns from
council chiefs, who fear the stunt could prompt
a crush around the stage. Gig On The Green takes
place on August 24 and 25.
France's highest court has refused to allow two
teachers to keep their mother's body in a glass
freezer at home. The Conseil d'Etat ruled cryonics
-stopping physical decay after death in the hope of
future revival - is illegal. Michel Leroy and his sister
Joelle from the French Indian Ocean island of
R�union want to keep their mother's body in a
basement freezer. The Times says their mother
Lise Leroy has been in refrigeration at a Saint-Denis-
de-la-R�union cemetery since July 1999.
