Can you please give some information, if this problem is going to be solved?
Due to the way Undertow invokes Weld before any regular Filter or Listener it is currently not possible to do any filtering before Weld accesses the request at all. So also the workaround in the FAQ will not work.
Currently the only way I know of to correctly interwork with request data other than Latin1 encoded is to recompile parts of Undertow with default charset set to the desired encoding.
