Hey Ty, I'd say that no Wellington doesn't have charge of this (from
what I've read in the above threads, or am I being stupid again??)

I'd say you guys/gals in Palmy would be better suited for it, it's
more in your neigbourhood.

RE Mel/Ryn - you don't need to be super talented to perform - you just
need to smile, take your time and show off what you know. Also, for
$50, they can't expect the big guns to come out. But really, a punter
who's never seen fire before wouldn't know the diff between a beginner
poi and a ninja-poi, especially if the beginner knows how to put it
onto an audience, whereas the ninja might not interact with the
audience at all, making the beginners show better!
