I have talked to Terry at Seaview, we can't decant out there its too
dangerous, but we can put it on a trailer of which I happen to have 1.
though I must get it a wof this weekend. The drum is only 145 kilos,
so we can use manual labour to place it on the trailer.

If it is ordered before midday it can arrive the next day.

a big drum costs approx $1025 (about 200 litres) and a 20 L tin costs
$145, so the economics are pretty obvious.

I would suggest driving it somewhere to decant. My place would be ok.

I am just awaiting confirmation from a few more people that the fuel
is still desired

I can then cover the cost of purchase of the drum, and get it to you.

CONTAINERS: I have enough for me.

Last time several of Bron's containers were used, as far as I know.
Though it may be she who used them.

You can get a 20L white container from Moore Wilsons or similar which
are sufficient. The Yellow Civil defence 15L containers are probably
not adequate from a legal viewpoint as they are perhaps slightly
flimsy (I have read the regs) and they are clearly water containers so
it would be stupid to put peg in them in case someone drank it!

Wendy, if you are reading this, do you still have any of those round
metal containers?

cheers all
Mike

cheers

We meet and spin fire in Frank Kits Park Tuesday nights weather permitting.
Please bring Koha if you wish to use the fuel provided.
This is pegasol and is highly refined kerosene $5 minimum.
If you wish to bring your own fuel, please bring your own dipping bucket so you
do not mix down the peg with regular kero.
