Same. I had the opportunity to do a clean install and went with rvm instead of Ubuntu's ruby. There's a bit more housekeeping to do when you set it up but it means I can go with Rails 3 for new projects without worrying about breaking my dev env for old projects. I didn't have any problems with RMagick installing.
