Hi all, Long time lurker, first time poster here.
My name is Rien Croonenborghs, I'm from Belgium and I am seeking employment in New Zealand as a Ruby on Rails developer. I came to New Zealand last year, liked it tremendously, worked for a while at 3months in Wellington, went back to Europe but now want to come back. What makes me so special? Since 2001 I have been developing software. I started out in Java to build up a solid OOP foundation and gradually became more interested in webdevelopment. In 2006 I had the chance to do my first project in Ruby on Rails and loved it immediately. Needless to say I got hooked. Over the years I have worked with some brilliant minds across Europe and further abroad that helped me shape my development methods today. Why hire me? Because of my experience in building complex applications in Ruby on Rails applications. They include, but are not limited to, tools like git and svn, unit testing, cucumber and rspec, postgres and mysql, jquery and prototype, capistrano and a whole range of plugins and gems like inherited_resource, sass and jzip. Relocation is certainly not a problem, getting a visa more likely is. I know there's some companies out there that would like to have an experienced developer helping them out. A complete CV (with references) is available upon request. Cheers, Rien -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "WellRailed" group.
