GloryLeague is a world first sports engagement platform that lifts the game 
of amateur basketball into a hyped up pro level experience for players, 
associations and sponsors. 

Players are cast as the star in the centre of their growing basketball 
career, empowered with gamified player stats, video (with automatically 
generated commentary), and personalised merchandise that make him or her 
feel like an NBA star.

Our stack: 
Rails, Ruby, CoffeeScript/Javascript, Postgres, Redis, HTML5, FFMPEG, 
Puppet, Nginx, AWS and a bunch of other awesome stuff like Aspera…

We have customers in New Zealand and Australia and are focused on our 
upcoming launch into the US market. 

Our NZ offices are located in the BIZ DOJO in the Ironbank Building. We 
provide essentials: a variety of free snacks, drinks (including free 
espresso coffee, & craft beer on tap). Glory League is a zen space that is 
comfortable and is designed to make you feel at home.

About you
Glory League is hiring two new developers, with opportunities in ops, 
front-end, and mobile. We are commitment to hiring good talent, and will 
design a role around your skills, within a complementary team. Ideally you 
live in Auckland, but we're willing to arrange remote work for the right 
candidate.

Get in touch with us if you:
Have a good grasp of OO programming and MVC, ideally in the Ruby ecosystem
Have experience with automated testing/TDD
Are comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across 
functional borders

And if you can cover one or more of:
IT Operations, including skills with Puppet/Chef/Ansible, cloud platform 
configuration and automation, Linux administration
Front-end development with a JavaScript framework such as Ember.js
Mobile development in RubyMotion/Objective-C/Andriod SDK

As a bonus:
Knowledge of video encoding, streaming, and playback
Experience with data visualisation and analytics tools and practices
You can get excited about a game of basketball
