I have a little personal knowledge of this vehicle. When I was Transport Manager at Merthyr Tydfil we purchased a Leyland National 2 with dual purpose seating that had been an exhibit at the Commercial Motor Show. Shortly after we had that one, the Leyland rep called and asked if we would like another one that was currently with the Gwent Area Health Authority. We opened the piggy bank but there were not enough pennies so the offer was declined. If anyone followed the Facebook link I posted earlier, it appears the vehicle still survives or at least did when the comments were posted about the photograph. Glyn
