Which, of course, raises the inevitable question: if these buses are fit for further service with EST, why is Stagecoach disposing of them ?

During its last year with Stagecoach, it operated from the former Islwyn depot at Blackwood, having replaced a 'step entrance' Optare Vecta-bodied MAN. It also carried an allover advert for thehouseibuilt.com. Here it is seen leaving Nelson Bus Station in September 2010 operating Service 7 (Pontypridd-Treharris-Ystrad Mynach-Blackwood).
