This bus was a bit of an issue when I took over as Manager at Merthyr Tydfil in 1980. Vehicles were sold by Public Tender and when this bus turned up in Merthyr operating a free service abstracting traffic from the Council's buses some Council Members wanted to restrict the sale of buses to people not based in the Borough. However, nothing came of the suggestion. Glyn Bowen
