Delivered new to Caerphilly depot .It was one of my regular buses on the 1
service from Newport to Merthyr.
Very sluggish buses and prone to windscreen leaks.

Stagecoach Services 1, 2 and 3 (Merthyr Tydfil-Rhymney-Bargoed) are operated
from Merthyr depot, mostly by a group of long Alexander ALX200-bodied Darts,
whose numbers are now diminishing.

33601 is one of a trio new to the South Wales fleet, and which transferred to
Cheltenham & Gloucester in 2000, only to return to South Wales a couple of
years ago.

This is seen in Pontlottyn Square heading south on Service 1, via Fochriw and
Deri, in April 2011.
