Hi All Thats what the driver of MOD 571P told me on Monday, so i haven't been able to confirm it, although when it first entered service a week ago, it looked like it still had the weymouth area blinds fitted. Some of the locals looked a bit bewildered seing this old bus running around mumbles with all the low floor vehicles. I must say it is nice to see it still in service and i have finally managed to get a trip on it after failing to get 1 back in Weymouth in september 2009 after coming down of the loco hauled train service from Bristol Temple Meads thank you anthony

However, Anthony tells me they've fitted new ones this week (hence it not running around blank like the first few days). Plenty of use again today I noticed, although people living along the route are sometimes using it instead of 2A so it's not a true reflection of what you'd call "tourist" journeys. However, usage is usage! Lovely weather for it too. I had plenty of time to roast whilst waiting for 158 or X63 in the bus station which are running extremely late due to the chaos with traffic and roadworks coming into Swansea at the moment. It did mean we got a nice detour down the M4 past Llansamlet in the opposite direction, turning off and going past Morriston and the Liberty Stadium, then up through the Hafod to the Kingsway and finally into the bus station instead of just going down Fabian Way.
