An acquaintance who has been working on a preserved Crosville Lodekka
told me that he has found evidence of 6 different shades of green
amongst the various layers of paint!

Tilling Green was known to be something of a 'moveable feast' - by the
end of the Tilling livery era, Hants & Dorset (for example) were using
a distinctly lighter, yellower shade than other green companies.

The relief colours on the vehicle also have an effect on the overall
appearance, in this case the areas of black that would not have
appeared on older types.
