A pretty rare occurrence for one of these to be on the X40. The batch is mostly confined to the X32 (Aberystwyth-Machynlleth-Dolgellau- Porthmadog-Caernarfon-Bangor) and the X94 (Barmouth-Dolgellau-Bala- Llangollen-Wrexham-Chester), with most being based at Dolgellau.
