This was former Rhondda Buses 703 (G399 PNN), a Cummins-engined Tiger, which was new as a non-psv to the Nottinghamshire Prison Service and received an East Lancs EL2000 body for Rhondda in 1995. It was subsequently re-registered A13 RBL.
When Stagecoach purchased the Rhondda Buses business in 1997, it became 913 and transferred to Chepstow depot. After withdrawal in about 2000 it passed to the Boomerang Bus Company of Tewkesbury, who at one time had operated the former National Welsh Plaxton Paramount 3200-bodied Tiger that had been re-registered AAL 520A (I can't remember which one). This is when it lost the A13 RBL plate and gained the 'AAL' plate which had been retained by Boomerang. I believe it is still in Boomerang livery in the photograph. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Welsh Bus Photographs" group.
