Hi

A good few years ago, shortly before the villiage bus network was lost to
Veolia there used to be a dedicated school service no. S19 running from Talbot
Green to Cowbridge comprehensive school. I have to say that a large vehicles is
certainly needed at school times, however a small optare solo/plaxton primo
will certainly be enough. Its the same with teh other villiage bus services at
times

thank you

anthony

AP Travel of Brynmenyn, near Bridgend, entered the local bus market in May by
taking on the operation of Service E11 (Cowbridge-Talbot Green) from EST.

Ikarus-bodied DAF J24 GCX is a recent acquisition from Johnsons of
Henley-in-Arden, and this is seen in Talbot Road, Talbot Green in September
2011.

Given that the service was once part of the "Village Bus" network, I presume
that a vehicle of this size is required for schoolday movements to and from
Cowbridge.
