Yes I agree, it seems as if many Welsh operators have yet to realise that 
there is now technology designed specifically for the job! Also the 
positioning of the route number is a complete no-no, that's clearly 
obstructing the field of vision through the windscreen for the driver and 
in addition part of a driver's daily walk-around check is checking that the 
windscreen is clean, undamaged, clear of defects and not obstructed by 
things such as decorations or stickers (around the edges you can get away 
with, but not something such as this where it's obstructing the driver's 
main field of vision).
