ARRIVA seem sell on Darts depending on which company disposes them
really. Cymru under ARRIVA North West appear to canabolise a good
number of them for useable parts prior to scrapping, logic suggests
they have more value for the spares opposed to sourcing new parts.
When the Welsh based step Darts were been disposed towards the end of
the type in the fleet, most were broken for spares and engines
transplanted into SLFs as required. Indeed ARRIVA Midlands have doen
alot like this. Of course some examples do see further use via the
likes of Stafford Centre Centre.
