Cheers Simon
I must admit I do have a soft spot for this Dart as it used to be
based in Rhyl depot along with 2106/7. I remember catching it on a
Rhyl Town Service once. When you've seen a Crosville Wales MSL
(Freight Rover Sherpa) on prime Cymru Coastliner route X1 (Caernarfon
- Chester) as I just about remember doing (with a look of horror on my
face) one Bank Holiday Monday circa 1988, a Dart on a lengthy route
doesn't seem too bad ;-)
Ah, well I've ridden on this bus too in the past :-) It's absolutely fine
tootling along, say, Colwyn Bay West End, on its way to Rhyl or Llandudno...
...But not on a lengthy trip like the Traws services. Ugh.
And of course I'm sadly familiar with the Sherpas too, as I'm sure I've
pointed out here or elsewhere before (!)
So indeed you're right. It's all relative, LOL...!
Simon
