Horrid things. They had on, off, brakes, nothing in between. Other lightweight chassis followed in the shape of further Ford R1014's with Duple Dominant bus bodied and also Bedfords also with Duple Dominant bus bodies and also Willowbrook Express bodies. The last batch of lightweights to enter service with South Wales Transport was a batch of Lex Maxeta bodied Bedford YMQ/S's, delivered in 1981.
