Nice! A good variety of subject matter too. There seems to be a bit
of lighting other than sodium lighting which helps bring out the
colours.
All this talk made me go out tonight, or rather it made me take my
camera with me on a trip I had to make anyway and I got a few,
although I need to put them on the computer to see how I went on (and
they would be OT anyway). If it hadn't been for this correspondence I
wouldn't even have thought to take my camera, so thanks for the
motivation!

I went through a fairly quick learning curve and due to the close
proximity of the vehicles 1/250s was the slowest shutter speed that
didn't produce softness on the front of the bus. Had I been much
further away then I may have been able to drop the shutter speed to
1/125s and the grain would have diminshed as well. 6400asa was the
ISO setting. The only adjustments I made in CS6 was temperature to
take some colour cast out, exposure and sharpening to the final
image size. Camera is a Canon 550D with 50mm prime lens.
