I assume that, because they're owned by somebody else, Stagecoach just need a
number to invoice any work that they carry out against. They dont need to worry
about 'selling' them or buying new ones!

Stagecoach is in the process of exchanging three of its Powys County
Council-owned 12m Optare Tempos used on Service T4 with a similar number of
12.6m versions with higher seating capacities.  They are distinguishable by the
‘RML style’ short window bay ahead of the rear axle.  Surprisingly the
replacements are taking up the same fleetnumbers as their predecessors.  25104,
the second, appears to be the first into service.  This is seen in Chapel
Street, Pontypridd, about to swing into the Bus Station, operating a Cardiff to
Newtown journey, in December 2012.  ©  Barrie Gilbert
