The batch was actually 50 vehicles (G601-641NWA, H642-650RKU) - 601-640 were
Sheffield Mainline, 641-650 were Doncaster Mainline

First Cymru has received this Alexander PS-bodied Volvo B10M from First
Bristol for continued use as a driver training vehicle.
It is one of a batch of 41 that were new to Mainline (South Yorkshire
Transport) in 1990, a few years before the business was sold to FirstGroup.
A handful ended up with First Bristol as driver trainers, though they were
recently replaced by former London Marshall Capital-bodied Darts.
It's noteworthy that it retains more or less a full set of seats and that
the seating is on split levels, unlike later examples of PS-bodied Volvos
delivered to Stagecoach that have flat floor layouts.
Here it is passing through Swansea City Bus Station in July 2013.
