It seems that the GNOME project has had a little bit of interest in
evaluating SCons as their build system.

There may be interesting ideas in this implementation that we could use
in WengoScons NG to improve it. Among other things, it seems that there
is a good support for pkgconfig.
I'd love that someone review the scons' tool developed for PyGTK and
report to the list what we could re-use.
