I finally convinced my girlfriend to use wengo instead of msn to do visio

I've several remarks/questions
the version used on both sides was the windows one.... mine comes from the french website and her's from the english one....

let's begin with the bug....
I don't know her camera model... and she can't give me enough information.... appart that it looks like a dog.... that it's a kind of spy camera..... well nothing usefull

the camera is unusable after first use.... this could be a good sumary......
here are the tests we done :
1) see if the camera works in the options control panel.... OK she can see her..... 2) right after begin a visio..... she can see me.... but I can't see her.... the pannel say "no webcam" 3) hang and recall.... (sometime it's not possible to call again..... it says that all lines of the correspondant are busy.... this is a whish but isn't it possible to setup several visio sessions at the same time? msn can do it..... so I think that wengo should....)
again the symptoms are here....
4) try msn..... LOT of trouble.... we never managed to have the visio working again.....
5) reboot and retry of msn..... ok it works......

so it seems that the camera is put into a mode that don't unitialise correctly on close......

those are wish remarks on intuitiveness....
1)wengo should start on the contact pannel..... this isn't intuitive that we have to go to this pannel to see friends.... 2) the first pannel indicating status.... should be moved elsewhere I think..... because he has no real use at first view.... 3) the chat window should have a tab "session log" where information about the session should be displayed.... like "recieve SIP session from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, negotiating codecs, codec selected codec XXXX, initialising RTP connections...." and so on.... one thing we both hate on msn.... is that sometimes.... it don't work.... but we never know why.... she always end to reboot her computer..... and that's annoying 4) what protocol do you use for chat? jabber could be a good idea.... it can work with google chat.... and other jabber clients.....

appart that... the sound is really great and clear.... and it works.... so continue in this direction.... you're in the right way
Best Regards
JLM
