Gtalk is supported by wengo ng out of the box, as far is i've read.

Speaking of Gaim, are you going to implement the libjingle part of
libgaim too so that people can chose between phapi and jingle? Or, as
you are sweatching to a jabber framework, are you waiting for google
to implement sip support in their jabber client to work on phpapi so
that it is conform with a yet to be released SIP Jabber JEP
(compatible with future gtalk) :) ? (sorry for the complexity, just
curious)
