Hello,
I'm new to the list. I joined because I like Wengophone and in order to
use it, I need some things fixed. I'll try to describe the problems
precisely.
I have Audigy 2 Value soundcard with hardware mixing. Here's the lspci
output:

When using ALSA, I get the same symptom in both NG and Classic: choppy
audio. The sound is intermittent and the period is stabe, about 2 cycles
per second, sounding like: a-a-a-a-a-a, with two a's a second.
I tried to fiddle with the .asoundrc file, but no positive result. I get
either choppy or no sound.
To use Wengophone Classic at all, I compiled it (Gentoo ebuild) with OSS
support. It works fine with OSS.
The soundcard works fine with ALSA + Ekiga, so it should be possible to
use it with ALSA + Wengophone as well.
What else information can I provide you with? Wengophone's debug output?
More details about the soundcard? I'd like to ask before I fill in a
ticket in Trac.
