Hello,

Libxv is related to Xvideo stuff. You should certainly check that xvideo
support is installed for your system.

Objet : [Wengophone-devel] Missing libXv.so.1

Greetings,

When trying beta 2.0 binary archive install this command

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./qtwengophone

gives this error

./qtwengophone: error while loading shared libraries: libXv.so.1: cannot
open shared
object file: No such file or directory

when run from within the unpacked directory (as instructions say)
on my Mandrake Linux machine:

uname -a
Linux desktop 2.6.11-6mdksmp #1 SMP Tue Mar 22 15:40:42 CET 2005 i686
Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz unknown GNU/Linux

cat /etc/redhat-release
Mandrakelinux release 10.2 (Limited Edition 2005) for i586

Is having libXv.so.1 something I should have, or? I dont believe
I have deleted it since the Linux install.

Will Wengo become linked statically to its dependencies?

(Sorry, I know nothing about Wengo yet, but know the issue of
environments being unknown territory of moving targets).
