Hi all,
I have had success building OpenWengo now on WinXP and can make and
receive calls through our VoIP platforms. However, one thing I have
noticed is the lack of a CANCEL message when hanging up on a call before
it connects. When I dial out I see the usual:
---> INVITE
<--- 100 Trying
<--- 183 Session Progress
But when I cancel the call I do not see any SIP 'CANCEL' message come
from Wengo, which means that the destination party keeps ringing until
it is answered. If the call IS picked up/connects then I do see a BYE
message at the end of the call and all is well, however when the cancel
comes before being answered the call flow is broken.
Has anybody seen this before. Do I need to configure something to get
Wengo to send the CANCEL message? Interestingly in the other direction
(incoming call) Wengo reacts to a SIP CANCEL message correctly and drops
the incoming call connection fine.
Also, I am looking at configuring the low-level SIP parameters such as
registration expiry timer etc. Is this possible? Can somebody advise
how I can change this?
Many thanks!
Ray
