Follow-up Comment #1:
To answer your final question "Would it be simple to only show the 'Details'
-button for items that actually have available details?" The answer is that
the button is already disabled and which is preferable to having it pop in an
out of existance, since a dialog with one button is expected to behave
differently than a dialog with two buttons. Did you really not notice that
the button is grayed out? If so, maybe the effect needs to be more
pronounced.
As for the Escape key bug, yes I was aware of that and tried to fix it
earlier. Unfortunately the bug seems a little trickier than I anticipated.
As for the other stuff, I'll look into it.
