Follow-up Comment #3:

I'm going to investigate the "minor issues", which I take to be: 

* castle_size (it is always 7)
* villages (no villages instead, even if villages!=0)
* chance (in [passage], the chance seems to be always 100%)

I don't think I've seeen these in 1.7, but I'll stasrt the scenario and
check.  If they're still presemt, I'll retitle this bug; if not, I'll mark it
Fixed and close it.
