Release: trunk

_______________________________________________________
Details:
On linux (ubuntu 10.4) with trunk, if the detected cache directory (~/.cache)
is not accesible for some reason (bad permissions or is a file), Wesnoth will
hang on startup at the end of the creating cache step (progress bar at 90%),
with no useful messages in stderr.
Last line is
info filesystem: streaming
/home/ilor/.cache/wesnoth/cache-v1.9.1+svn-18bc7348b045f0dfc5704fe3a61521050ab22321.gz
for writing.
Wesnoth then stays in a busy loop until killed.
