I thought I would take a shot at confirming this, and I was unable to
reproduce the bug. The attached replay does not show your leader getting extra
healing, and I did not receive extra healing when I replicated the steps in my
own game.
So to confirm, when you left the game in round 8 (the situation you describe
happened in round 7, not 8), your leader was at full health? The sequence of
healing you saw was:
side 3 turn 7 start: leader heals from 40 to 48 (village)
side 3 turn 7 end: leader heals from 48 to 56 (bug)
side 3 turn 8 start: leader heals from 56 to 60 (healer)
I am kind of inclined to suspect that you did not notice the village healing
at the start of turn 7, but there could be some factor involved that was
different when I tried to reproduce this. Still, I thought the replay would
throw a message of some sort during side 1 turn 9 when the leader was attacked
(at 52 HP in the replay, but would have been at 60 HP with the mystery
healing). Also, the saurians only heal +4 HP, so getting +8 because of them
would be another layer of oddness.
