Update of bug #20941 (project wesnoth):
Severity: 3 - Normal => 1 - Wish

Follow-up Comment #1:
I'm not really seeing a benefit here. If there is a unit I've found 15 times
when I go to recall a unit, chances are I'll have no trouble finding it the
16th time. If I want to recall it again, that is. If the scenario is different
than any that came before, I might want to find different units.
On the negative side, sorting units by how many times they have been recalled
might make players more sentimental about their units, leading to impaired
strategy. Speaking of which, choosing a unit based upon ability is a better
strategic move than choosing one based on tenure. Encouraging players to make
bad decisions (by highlighting tenure) does not seem like progress to me.
Campaign developers can track recalls in WML, but I hardly see a reason to
push people to use this "feature". Especially given your example. Taking away
a player's 10 favorite units is hardly what I would call "fun". Rather I would
call it "aggravating" or "tomato surprise".
I'm thinking I would not agree with the claim of usefulness at this time.
(Others may have different opinions, of course.)
