Follow-up Comment #3, bug #22356 (project wesnoth): LAZA: I'm not sure why you posted all the savegames in this report. I only looked into your last save of DiD Haunting in Winter you posted and that scenario definitely ends when you kill the last enemy.
As for the tutorial, I would claim that that behavior is intended. Nowhere does it say that the scenario will end once you have killed the last quintain, there are no objectives to this end (and Delfador does not say it either when he leaves, although his message could be interpreted in that way). I believe that the player is still encouraged to experiment around with capturing villages, healing etc. after the quintains are kill and help messages continue to appear. On the other hand, there's a right-click option to end the scenario whenever one becomes tired of that.
