Summary: Window state handling inconsistent across different OSes in SDL2 builds. Project: Battle for Wesnoth Submitted by: vultraz Submitted on: Sun 03 Jan 2016 02:34:57 AM UTC Category: Bug Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None of the others Status: Confirmed Privacy: Public Assigned to: aginor Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 1.13.2+dev Operating System: Various _______________________________________________________ Details: Despite extensive refactoring, different behavior is still observed on different OSes (and by extension, window managers). For example: As of commit 3c5e6cbdb6d4, toggling fullscreen and back out works fine for me on Windows 10, but Aginor experiences different behavior: [13:17:21] Aginor vultraz: if I fullscreen, exit, restart, de-fullscreens [13:17:32] Aginor vultraz: the window is not the same size as before on Linux. Second example: [13:19:32] Aginor likewise, setting fullscreen and then changing the resolution doesn't give the window the size requested on restore For me, this partially works, but results in a borderless window. Aginor also reports that the window state will not return to maximized if quitting on a maximized window, while it works correctly for me. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?24270> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Wesnoth-bugs mailing list Wesnoth-bugs@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wesnoth-bugs
