Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24547 (project wesnoth):

Sadly, I can confirm this one (tested in The Rise of Wesnoth S1, but I expect
it's universal). But only for reverting to the immediate previous turn. If I
revert to the second-last turn, my killed unit is correctly restored.
