Hiho everybody!
Looks like we just had some campaign server crash for the trunk server (the one
serving the dev tree as well as trunk).
Somehow the file data/server.cfg was completely empty when I had a look at it
to delete some campaign from the server.
The data itself was still available but the "content file" itself is not
available anymore anywhere. In that file all
the important infos like campaignname, author, size, downloadnumber and
*whatever* were stored. I made a backup of the
old files (including the logs) into a nice tarball though I won't offer it
anywhere. If you seriously need the file I
will download it from the server via sftp and make sure you can get it but I
would like to not do so, It has about 35MB
eventhough it is compressed.

So in short: The server is now completely wiped clean and ATM no incompatible
content is available on the dev campaign
server (hehe, there is no content at all...). No idea how this did happen but I
think it is not too bad since I
eventually wanted to clean the server up anyway. I think a long search for the
error is not this important either
because Mordante wanted to start on rewriting the whole campaignserver stuff
shortly.

Somehow this mail is just meant to keep you informed why the campaignserver is
now so nice and clean.

Cheers,
Nils Kneuper aka Ivanovic
