I'm certainly in favor of dropping autotools. I started the push to get rid
of it, and it's no less of a nasty hairball than it was then.
I haven't noticed anyone liking cmake except Ivanovic and you. If you
want to put in the effort to maintain it, I certainly can't stop you -
but I do think the project has better uses for your time.
