I have two uncles who came here from Prussia in 1881 as very small children. Now on
their military papers I find they say they are from West Farland in Germany. I cannot
find a place like that on either older or current maps for Germany. West Farland was
supposed to be in Wesphalia according to their papers.
Can any please tell me if there ever was a West Farland in Westphalia and, if so,
where it is? Thanks very much for your help. Or maybe somebody could suggest where I
might be able to find this information.
