Could Ron Okuonzi consider publishing this Lado history. When the Europeans
came to colonize Africa, they told us our animist religions were bad and
stanic. They baptised us and forced us to use their names so that we appear
close to them albeit different clours. They divided where we live and drew
imaginary lines called borders, which people have come to recognise,
identify with and stuck with for ages.

I think written literature may serve to educate and convince people that
something happened at such period of time. Unfortunately, human beings
think forwards, rarely backwards. There are very few who care about the
past. Sociological theories say that societies are on constant change, which
unfortunately is a forward movemment as opposed to backward evolution.
