Dear Members,

I have read the mails from Dr Anguzu Yumaa and Sam Ejibua with pride and pain.
Pride that all our people require is leadership that addresses the real issues
but pain for the reason that with only a few months to go towards elections,
our people in West Nile at the grass roots level may yet experience a
"democratic robbery".

Brothers and sisters of West Nile, while we firm up the West Nile Foundation,
given that the collective conscience of our people is at risk, can we make a
last minute effort towards CIVIC EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT AWARENESS as a
singular priority objective in the next few months? This may require a select
Committee to come up with recommendations which members can comment on and
collectively facilitate at the grass roots level.

No member of this Forum is against any particular individual or party for the
sake of it. We all collectively must stand for the true ideals of democratic
governance but most importantly for the need to address the real development
challenges of the common man and woman in West Nile.
