Members, "Uganda has maintained its position as the leading alcohol consumer in East Africa and one of the top worldwide. According to a new report by the World Health Organisation (WHO), Ugandans consume 11.9 litres of alcohol per capita annually compared to 4.1 litres in Kenya and 6.2 litres in Tanzania" (Monitor Wed. 23/2/11). Can we derive a lesson from this?
