Hi Jackson,

Once again thank you for this initiative.
Is it possible to identify and directly request some known and reputable
clerics to head the drive through mosques and churches (e.g. Fr. Adiga Nakary -
Christ the King Arua, Rev. Gelenga - All Saints Kampala, St. Francis Makerere,
Okuvu, etc, etc.); local radios in West Nile to promote the campain with a
clear direction of the collection points with a proper guideline to follow at
the collection centres when one makes a donation.

Thank you.

Aluta continua!

Subject: [WestNileNet] Volunteers to coordinate annual book drive for 2011
To: westnilenet@kym.net

Dear sisters and brothers

Last week I had posted this idea of annual book drive for primary and secondary
schools, a few people seconded the idea.

The goal is to raise 10,000 books ( all subjects) by December 2011.
This is a small achievable goal if we can all join our hands to reach the needy
children in our community.

I need help from at least SIX volunteers to coordinate book collection. Please
ask your local Priest/Pastor/mwalim to announce every month.
1) Two people to work in Entebbe  area with local churches/mosque where most
people from our community attend
2) Two people to work in Kampala area, preferrably work with a place like Okuvu
Church or Christ The King or mosque
3) Two people to work in Arua area, preferrably local churches or mosque in
town.

Note: If you live overseas, consider making a donation of at least $20 for Nile
Care Inc (www.Nilecareinc.net). This is a registered charity a few of us have
worked so hard to organize and continue to persevere to improve.

Dear brethen, we need your help. Charity starts from Home. Every contribution
you make will change someone's life. Become an agent for that change.

Time has come where we all need to be pragmatic in solving local problems. if
we do nothing, nothing will change. How long shall we allow this to continue?
